Hello Stilwell Families! 

I want to take a moment to introduce myself – my name is Liz Webb, and I get the pleasure of being your PTO President for the 2023-2024 school year! Whether this is your first year at Stilwell or you’re returning for another, welcome, it’s a great place to be! 😊 

A little about me: I have a 4th and 2nd grader at Stilwell this year. I joined the PTO for two reasons: I wanted to support the students and staff that make my kids LOVE Stilwell Elementary, and I wanted to build relationships with other families. Whether it’s delivering a grant check to a teacher or watching the students run around at back-to-school night, as a PTO Member I get to make an impact and put a smile on someone’s face. I’ve met so many wonderful people and continue to meet new faces every day! I hope you can find your reason to give back this year. 

Our PTO works so hard year after year to provide support in so many ways for our students, teachers, staff, and families. We work closely with Stilwell staff members, learn the school’s needs, and offer our support wherever we can. Whether it’s financial support or organizing events, we make every attempt to help. We’ve been able to provide funding for online subscriptions for students, teacher supplies, field trips, class party snacks, student and family events throughout the year, library books, additional teacher grants, and the list goes on. 

The PTO can’t accomplish all these wonderful things without the support of our family volunteers. If you have ever volunteered with PTO in any capacity–whether it was your time, money, providing party supplies, baking cookies for staff, setting up for an event–THANK YOU. We were successful because of you! Supporting the PTO can be done in so many ways, and we hope you can find  the way that works best for you. If you want to know how to help, please reach out!

I want to make sure we continue to grow our community, and one of the best ways to do that is making sure everyone knows what’s going on within our school. The PTO offers a variety of ways to stay connected! A great place to start is registering at our website: www.stilwellpto.org. It’s full of information, including a calendar of events, spirit wear, volunteer opportunities, links to frequently used sites, teacher favorites, and so much more. Once you register, you’ll be subscribed to our weekly emails. You can also download the Membership Toolkit app which will allow you to access all the website information from your phone. Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook at @stilwellmustangspto. 

I’m so excited for the school year! We have wonderful things planned and lots of ways you can give back or volunteer. You have an amazing PTO Board this year with an outstanding set of Committee Chairs, all eager to make this the best year ever.
