What are community Service Hours: Community service hours can be earned in a variety of ways! Students can volunteer at school-sponsored events, like a carnival or community work day, or assist a neighbor with yard work—free of charge. Volunteering at non-profit organizations on your own time, babysitting for free, or participating in other school-led community service projects are also great ways to accumulate hours. Remember, the focus is on giving your time and effort to help others without receiving compensation!
Submitting Hours: Follow the "Report Volunteer Hours" link on the PTO website. It's found under "What We Do" then "Family Engagement" on the PTO home page. *The PTO will record hours for community service projects completed during class parties. Select "Other" at the bottom of the drop down screen as the opportunity.
Make an Impact: The PTO Community Service team wants your input to help us have a tangible and positive impact on our own community. Contact us about a charity or organization that you're passionate about, and potential ways that our Stilwell Students could help. We would love to plan our activities around organizations that have a Stilwell connection to make our service as meaningful to our community as possible.
