All About the PTO

And where exactly do your dues/donations go? As an organization, we support Stilwell students and staff in every way we possibly can. We work closely with Stilwell staff members,  learn the school's needs and offer our support wherever we can. Whether it's financial support or organizing events, we make every attempt possible to help out. 

 

Here are just a few things we've done recently with PTO funds...

  • Supplement online learning subscriptions (IXL, Pebble Go, etc.)

  • Supply each teacher with $100 for beginning-of-the-school year supplies

  • Provide funding for field trips.

  • Organize and fund events like Back to School Night, Carnival, Muffin's & Me and Donuts & Dude's for families, students, and staff. 

  • Support our staff with food and treats throughout the year to say thank you! 

  • Provide additional grants for teachers and scholarships for graduating seniors. 

... and these are just a few of the big things we've been working on this year. We are always looking for volunteers to help in whatever capacity they can. Whether that is sitting on the board, chairing a committee, volunteering at an event or bringing snacks to a class party. Your help is always appreciated. 

 

Why Join PTO?

The PTO has one goal in mind: to strengthen the highest quality education of children at Stilwell Elementary by fostering relationships among the school, parents/guardians, and teachers; promoting a sense of support, pride, and enthusiasm!  If you share that same mindset, then let's join forces!

If any of these sound like you, then the PTO is for you. We can especially use more brains to help us find and execute new and creative ways to support our students and Stilwell staff. 

 

 

PTO Membership

In addition to the above, your PTO membership (1 membership is for 2 people) will allow you access to the online directory, ability to hold a Board or Chair position, and voting rights (1 vote per membership) at meetings.
